This restaurant is famous with their ‘Chicken Chop’ due to the tagline they used (Chicken Chop Terbesaqqq). However, there are many other special and mouth-watering menu offered at this restaurant.
For instead, my personal favourite at this restaurant is their signature ‘Spaghetti Aglio Olio Chicken Grill’ and ‘Lamb Chop’. On the other hand, if you are in budget and still want to try most of their menu’s, you can try their famous ‘bulk menu’ or we called it ‘menu talam’ in Malay. ‘Menu Talam’ is way more affordable and worth.
It served customers with variety types of menu’s with lower price. Lastly, customers can choose either make a reservation at +6010-9484776 or walk in to dine in this restaurant.

Tapak Urban Street Dining Seksyen 9 Shah Alam is located at : 24b, Jalan Tengku Ampuan Zabedah K 9/K, Seksyen 9, 40100 Shah Alam, Selangor.
Street food that we decided to make a review is Tapak Urban Street Dinning. We visit one of the branches located at at Seksyen 9, Tapak Urban Street Dining Shah Alam. This branch is the newest one starting its operation on 12 December 2019. TAPAK is the brainchild of 3 good high school friends from different study background, sharing the same love for street food. Established in 2016, TAPAK became Malaysia’s 1st food truck park that brings together local food truck operators and food lovers towards urban street dining culture. Today Tapak has six branches operating every day including Tapak Urban Street Dining Shah Alam.
Tapak Urban Street Dining in all location recorded up to 4000 visitors daily, operating 7 days a week. Tapak providing up to 120 food truck and serving 400 types and more dishes every day. Tapak operate at 5PM – 10PM daily. Tapak focusing on people who are having dinner, main customers that come to Tapak is the youth and workers who just finished their day.
The first thing I saw when we arrived at the Tapak Urban Street Dining Seksyen 9 Shah Alam is the place is full with food truck. The place is organized beautifully, the place surrounded with food truck and they set the table at the center. The place is simple but still the place will set the mood and cheer you up. We arrived there when they just open, but people are already waiting to get their temperature checked and thankfully we got a table for us. We feel very welcome here, the food truck stuff served us an excellent service and they also recommend to us people favorite food here.
There is variety option to try at Tapak Urban Street Dining Seksyen 9 Shah Alam, from local food to western and also Asian food all you can get here in one place. The menu that we tried is Nacho Cheese, Kuey Teow Goreng, Spaghetti Bolognese and Butter Chicken Rice. For Nacho Cheese price is RM10, Kuey Teow Goreng was only RM7, for Spaghetti Bolognese and Butter Chicken Rice both at RM12 each meal and for drinks, I ordered coconut shake only cost me RM6.
While waiting our order to arrive we ate the Nacho cheese. The Nacho cheese is really impressive, the amount of the Nacho and the cheese is really unexpected. The nacho really loaded with cheese, but I can’t finish all of it because I feel satiated with that amount of cheese. But for all of it really worth to buy it.
After a few minutes waiting Spaghetti Bolognese has arrived, I really love the taste of the sauce because it tastes like roasted meat and It also has tomato paste, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic, and they are very well browned and minced. After finish eating Spaghetti Bolognese, I tried butter chicken rice, I already fall in love with the butter chicken at the first bite of the meal. The taste of butter really stands out and I enjoy the rest of the bite, the rice is well cooked and with the butter it’s a perfect combination of a meals and worth every penny.
While I’m eating the butter chicken rice, Anis is being served with Keuw Teow goreng. Anis said the meals is very delicious, she can’t get enough with the pickled green chillies. She added, the taste of Kuew Teow is perfectly balanced and then added with the pickled green chillies creating a must try meals at Tapak. I also enjoy drinking the coconut shake, the sweets is perfect for me and the taste of original coconut is there to meet my expectations.
After all we are very happy with all of the meal that we tried at Tapak Urban Street Dining Seksyen 9 Shah Alam, I’m very satisfied with the services and the quality of the food. I would recommend for you to check it out by you self and don’t forget to bring your friends and family along with you because it is a great place to hangouts.
Tara Burger Section 13 Shah alam is one of the street food vendors we chose to review due to the popularity among MSU students. They are located right around the corner at Menara u2, Jalan Boling Padang 13/62, Seksyen 13, Shah Alam, Selangor. It looks just like any other street food stall equipped with a tent and the necessary utensils which makes it mobile or portable as it could be moved to different locations depending on the owner’s decision. When it comes to Tara Burger location, they are located in one of the most strategic locations as the area is filled with university students, lecturers, and office workers.
As per online sources, Tara Burger has been in the street food industry since 2013. Besides, according to their Facebook page, the recipe used is 75 years old. It is an indication of the amount of publicity and popularity they have earned over the years. Even through online sources and by other means, we could not manage to find information about the owners or the exact amount of time that they have been in the street food industry. By asking the employees we were able to clarify that the food served is Halal as the ingredients used are Halal certified.
When looking into the menu, there are 16 varieties of burgers offered at different prices. This includes, Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) RM3.20, Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) Special RM4.20, Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) Special Cheese RM5.20, Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) Double RM5.00, Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) Double Special RM6.00, Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) Double Special Cheese RM7.00, Oblong Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) RM6.00, Oblong Special RM7.00, Oblong Kambing(goat) RM8.00, Hot-dog Jumbo Cheese RM5.00, Benjo RM3.00, Rusa(deer) RM5.50, Arnab(rabbit) RM5.50, Ikan(fish) RM4.20, and Monster Daging(meat)/Ayam(chicken) RM8.50. Customers can choose the level of spiciness from less spicy, spicy to extra spicy. In overall, the prices are affordable as it is below RM9.
For the review, one of our group members ordered the Ayam(chicken) Special which costs RM4.20. As we were not allowed to record during the preparation of the burger, we observed to see the ingredients used. The burger was prepared in less than 5 minutes. They first place the bottom bun in the plastic packaging whilst the burger patty is being prepared. Then, they put some onion and cabbage on the bottom bun. Once the burger patty is cooked and wrapped with an omelet, it is placed on top of the onion and cabbage. Lastly, they top it up with barbecue sauce, chili sauce, mustard, and a bit of cheese.
Our group member being someone who has never eaten street food enjoyed the burger. As per him, the burger had so many flavors to it. The taste of onion, cabbage, and the sauces complimented the burger patty and omelet. The sauces when combined was mouth-watering and the burger patty being well cooked, it melts into the mouth.
The Ayam(chicken) Special being just a basic burger among the other items on the menu, we could only imagine how good the other burgers would be. Even though Tara Burger has been in the business for such a long time, they operate mainly in Klang and Shah Alam only. When looking at the number of customers they receive on a daily basis, they could still operate in more areas throughout Malaysia and make profit as there would be plenty of potential customers.
In conclusion, Tara Burger currently being located in Shah Alam, they are in the best possible location to generate revenue. However, by the time they can expand their business by taking the opportunities that come along the way and market their burgers on social media platforms by investing extra effort than their current marketing efforts. In the future, we hope to see Tara Burger open their restaurant or cafe. Based on our taste test, Tara Burger fulfills our expectations and we will highly recommend it to burger lovers in Malaysia and also all over the world.
Corndog Tarik Puchong Viral which is located at 47100, Jalan Prima Utama 1, Taman Puchong Prima, 47150 Puchong, Selangor. They got the corn-dog idea from Korean street food. They sell “Sausage Tarik Cheese Melting’’ and also sell “Takoyaki Melt” from the corn-dog stall. The stall is open from 1:00 pm to 6.30 pm every day except for Monday they are closed. They sell Corndog Tarik Cheese for only RM7.00 and there are all sorts of things which they sell such as “Takoyaki Melt’’ for Rm5.00 for 5 pieces and Rm10.00 are 12 pieces of ‘’Takoyaki Melt’’
The main specialty for the stall is the corn-dog which is stuffed with cheese more than just sausage and it is wrapped in a chewy dough, covered in breadcrumbs, deep-fried and they will provide 3 different toppings which are mayonnaise, cheese sauce, and chili sauce. Individuals might not eat hot-dogs or sausages in general but the corn-dog cheese tastes so delicious. They had so many variations available such as filled with mozzarella cheese, sausage wrapped in cheddar cheese. It was delicious and we bought a few of the corn-dogs as it was very affordable.
Corn-dog is trendy now, similar to Boba Tea because most students and kids are obsessed with cheese. Corn-dogs are often served as street food or as fast food. For the best and freshest preparation, some vendors or restaurateurs dip and fry their corn dogs just before serving. Some corn dog purveyors sell pre-made frozen corn dogs, which have been thawed and then fried again or browned in an oven. It is really hard to find the best corn-dog cheese that has a great cheese filling but Corndog Tarik Puchong Viral has the best ones that I have ever tasted.
From what we learned from the owner, she said that the ingredients are hot dogs, sausages or mozzarella sticks, disposable wooden chopsticks, breadcrumbs, oil for frying, and the batter is flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, fat-free milk cold, and egg. The hardest part to do the corn-dog is that they have to make sure to use low moisture mozzarella, otherwise it will melt too much when fried and will leak out. Other than that, they also want to keep the batter cold. If it gets too warm, it will not stick to the hot dog and will runoff.
If your batter starts to get warm, you can refrigerate it until it is cold again. We also learned that it is not that easy to make corn-dog but at Corndog Tarik Puchong Viral, it is very crunchy on the outside and has great cheese fillings which are a great combination. The cheese that they used does not taste like a cheap cheese even though the price is very affordable. They used a good cheese to fill in the corn-dog.
The stall is well known especially in the Puchong area and has many people coming to the stall all the time when they are open. That is why the stall is called “Corndog Tarik Puchong Viral”. We would never regret buying the corn-dog there and we really would recommend to buy this again and also recommend people to come and try their corndog that they sell here. We hope to see Corndog Tarik Puchong Viral open more stalls in different parts of Malaysia so that everyone can enjoy the delicious corn-dog they prepare.

Pola-Dola Cafe and Kitchen is a cafe shop located in Eco Ardence, Setia Alam which is a favorite hangout place for couples, families, and sportspeople since it has a jogging track too. The atmosphere of the cafe is welcoming and magnificent. Their decoration is very popular with young people because the whole cafe makes people feel like they have come to a glasshouse. Even when it rains, this glasshouse-themed cafe in Setia Alam looks cozy.
They officially opened this year, 19 September 2020. The owner of the cafe is Chinese and Pola-Dola is a local cafe based in Malaysia. The interior design of the cafe is very fresh coupled with the elegant lighting and the indoor plant’s decoration that makes customers feel relaxed and calm. The food items on the menu are mouth-watering with a lot of options such as soup and salad, burger, pizza pasta, Asian food, appetizer, and desserts.
Most meals are prepared from fresh and healthy organic ingredients that make the food taste better and not greasy. My friends and I decided to order classic Italian pasta, Aglio-olio beef bacon, and green tea latte for our lunch which cost us only RM49.90 in total. The prices offered in Pola-Dola are affordable because it is not too cheap and not too expensive. The classic Italian pasta was served with tomato sauce, sausage, and some herbs that can spices up our appetite and it was served in a big portion too.
The tastes of the classic Italian were not spicy at all and it can be eaten by kids too. For the Aglio-olio beef bacon, it was a bit oily since it used a lot of oil to cook the pasta and it was a bit spicy than the classic Italian pasta, which indicates that it is not suitable to be eaten by kids. The Aglio-olio comes with beef bacon and some herbs on the top which makes it look more delicious.
\The green tea latte that we chose was cold and very tasty. As we all know, pasta is western food. Pola-Dola also offers Asian food such as Nasi Goreng with Sambal Udang and Nasi Campur with Sambal Ayam. For the kid’s menu, they offer mostly pasta such as Little Italy, carbonara pasta, and marinara pasta and there is one western food on the kid’s menu which is fish and chips.
We can get a free cultured mix and mix fruits if we order the kid’s food. Not only that, for those who like to eat desserts, this cafe also offers some cakes and other desserts such as ice cream, waffles, fries, bread, pudding and many more that will make our mouth water. Furthermore, they offer a lot of drinks too such as hot drinks, iced drinks, fruit juices, and frappe. There are a lot of choices for each drink menu and mostly the menu is coffee.
Besides, Pola-Dola offers coffee without 100% caffeine for those who like to drink coffee without caffeine. For us, Pola-Dola is a nice cafe for everyone since they offer various types of food from western food to Asian food.
To conclude, Pola-Dola is a new cafe so if they want to be a strong brand, it is suggested to focus more on marketing because the food offered is also high in quality but not getting much attention probably due to lack of marketing and as they are new in the food and beverage industry. We hope to see Pola-Dola become successful in the food industry and expand all over Malaysia and in international markets as the food tastes delicious.

The hygiene of the café is very well taken care of. They do take their cleanliness seriously. For example, right after the customers left the table, the workers will quickly clean up the table area for the other customers.

Street food that have been choose by ours is Makan What MY. This business is founded by one of the MSU Students, Sara Muzam, 21 years old. The business started in September 2019. The founder is one of the Instagram influencers which makes it an opportunity for her to start and promote her business on this platform. Not just a food business, she also sells shawls through Instagram applications. Other than Instagram, she also has been using TikTok making videos promoting her business as well as making content.
This street food stall was located at Jalan Platinum E7/E, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam Selangor or people can just waze Boba What Seksyen 7. The street food stall is operated from 12.30pm until 9.30pm. The long opening hours from noon attracts school students and workers to buy their corn dog during lunch hour, and people can still buy it until it is closed. Makan What MY started by only selling boba drinks and then they start selling corn dog in early 2020. Makan What MY have their own Instagram page, @makanwhatmy or can be contacted through Whats App at +6011-5637129 if they want to order early, or bulks.
The menu that we tried was their corn dog which was priced at RM6.00. They have the promotion that when you buy three corndogs, the price will be RM 15.00 only which means it is a great deal. When we arrived at the stall, there were two workers working there. As soon as we order, we only have to wait for less than five minutes to get our food. The presentation is nice in terms of color which shows the crispiness, and they topped it with sauces to make it more flavorful.
It is the best time to consume it as soon as possible. This is because the mozzarella cheese inside the corndog still melt and you can see it pulled through every bite. The amount of cheese they put in is so generous which makes the price so worth it every penny. The sausage inside is also big and mouthful which is so delicious to eat when you are craving for the Korean snack. We can guarantee that they are using the best quality of sausage based on the taste because they are so good and not the normal and cheap sausage.
Makan What My also provides online delivery around the area through Foodpanda apps so that the customer could just wait at their house while the rider picked up their orders. This is a great opportunity for the business to reach more customers.
We give rate to this street food nine out of ten as it is one of the best corn dog that is actually excellent for the price and fact that it is better as a food stall than the one that served in malls. The food are also suitable for all ages so we can share it with all of our family members. Not to forget, they are also selling Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Cream Mousse which cost only RM7.00. These two combination is perfect for your snacks with friends and family members.
During this pandemic of Covid-19, many businesses already closed down because of difficulties to sustain in the market and gain profit. As a consumer, we should always support local businesses, especially the small one because these entrepreneurs depend on their sales to put food on the table for themselves and their families. Even if it is not much as it seems, it would be beneficial and helpful for them to keep on being in the market.

Abangsejuk | Sejuk Milktea is a brand started by Adel Ebnenasir or best known as “Abang Sejuk”, a gentleman from the land of Iran with his Malaysian wife, Anisah Halim. Adel, who was formerly a full-time photographer has started this bubble milk tea business during the fasting month in 2018 at the Ramadan bazaar in Kampung Kerinchi, Pantai Dalam. The couple realised that they have been getting positive feedback from the locals and it has encouraged them to continue their business operation until today.
The recipe for the abang sejuk milk tea is from Adel’s own recipe and he would cook the tea for 2 hours on every operating day. Most people who bought the milk tea from Sejuk could agree that the Sejuk milk tea has a unique taste to it that you are unable to find in any other milk tea brands.
The tapioca balls or “boba” are usually cooked for 3 hours before serving and it has a very soft and chewy texture to it that makes people come back to make their repurchase again after their first time trying. Besides boba, Sejuk also serves jelly bits as their toppings and customers can either choose for boba, jelly or even mixed toppings for both boba and jelly.
Now, the Abang Sejuk brand has 5 different types of drink selection to choose from on their menu which include the classic Homemade Milk Tea, Roasted Caramel Homemade Milk Tea, YuenYeung Homemade Milk Tea which is the combination of coffee and their homemade milk tea, ChiChi Api Homemade Milk Tea which is the milk tea served with burned cheese topping and their latest new flavour, Chizu Daizu which is their signature soy milk served with crushed peanuts on top.
Our group members, Siti Nurzulaika and Nur Nabilah Aimi had visited the Abang Sejuk stall located in front of the Perpustakaan 1 Malaysia Lembah Pantai, Kampung Kerinchi, Pantai Dalam to hunt for the best boba milk tea in Klang Valley. They have tried 3 of the signature drinks from Sejuk which include the Roasted Caramel Milk Tea, ChiChi Api Milk Tea and the new Chizu Daizu. There is no doubt that all three flavours that we have tried are top-notch deliciously unique as the taste of each boba drink is different from any other boba drinks that you can find in other boba tea shops.
We would recommend people to try the Abang Sejuk Chizu Daizu the most for people who do not have any peanut and soybean allergy as it has a creamy and nutty taste to it and it is best to ask for the mixed toppings of both boba and jelly. It is impossible for you to find the same drink that taste like Chizu Daizu in any other places as this is their very own recipe.
For those who love cheese, ChiChi Api Milk Tea is a way to go as it has a unique combination of both cheese and milk tea flavour to it. For the people who prefer a drink that is not too sweet and light, the Roasted Caramel Milk Tea would be your ideal choice of purchase.
The prices for the Abang sejuk drinks are ranging from RM 4 to RM 9 depending on the cup sizes and as for the toppings, there will be an additional of RM 1. The price range is super affordable and it is cheaper compared to any other boba tea shops. Comes with a great taste and affordable price there is no doubt that the drinks from Abang Sejuk are the locals favourite and best street boba milk tea in Klang Valley. Sejuk also will have surprise promotions for their drinks so make sure to follow their Instagram page, @sejukmilktea and they are available on FoodPanda app as well for delivery.
