Nasi Lemak Santan Pak Naseer is already served at 9 branches in Klang Valley Area. No other dish is as well known as Nasi Lemak in Malaysia. It contains rice cooked with coconut milk, usually eaten with anchovy, peanuts, cucumbers, and boiled eggs. A hot chili paste called sambal is added to the dish. Though initially designed as a breakfast dish, it soon exceeded its original goal and became a Malaysian national dish that can be consumed at any time.
The invention came out of the mere necessity to use all available ingredients and the popularity of nasi lemak has steadily risen since the 1980s when the meal of the farmer became a dish often sold by street vendors and stalls in Malaysia. The mast of their cuisine is Southeast Asian cuisines. The name of the cafe also is inspired by Malaysia’s beloved ‘coconut milk’, SANTAN is a reflection of the purity and simplicity of ASEAN flavors and ingredients.
Basically, Nasi Lemak in “SANTAN” is known as Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak. It is one of the most popular dishes in SANTAN and Nasi Lemak Santan Pak Naseer is only served in this cafe. The Nasi Lemak Santan Pak Naseer set is came with fragrant coconut rice with Pak Nasser’s highly rated sweet and savory chili sambal and boneless chicken rendang on the side, served with anchovies, groundnuts, and boiled eggs along with cucumber.
